Belmiro Jacinto's late challenge caught a Itta Bena's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Belmiro Jacinto helped the player get up and apologised. Belmiro Jacinto hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Rufus Bryant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sanford Egan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Rufus Bryant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sanford Egan in the 11th minute. Joshua Ashby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zackary Allred, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After 14 played minutes Itta Bena got a freekick which was hit by Loren Chacon. After a rather tough play, Green Machine's Noel Carlton got a free kick in the 15th minute. Belmiro Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Itta Bena's Lenny Cortez got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sanford Egan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emmanuel Doherty hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Zackary Allred scored 1-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joshua Ashby, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st minute, Troy Croft hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wesley Daniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Joshua Ashby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Troy Croft kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Itta Bena's Lenny Cortez got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sanford Egan to strike the kick off in the second half. Sanford Egan scored 2-1 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rufus Bryant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sanford Egan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rufus Bryant having to interfere. Rufus Bryant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sanford Egan's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Itta Bena's goal looked a bit too open when Troy Croft came free, but Joshua Ashby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kermit Foote kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Green Machine's Joshua Ashby threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zackary Allred, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Joe Hawk hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Noel Carlton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joshua Ashby having to make a save. A collision led to Itta Bena getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Cordarryl Rancel hit a great ball. Zackary Allred blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joshua Ashby having to make a save. Kermit Foote kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Green Machine's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
