Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zackary Allred got the match started through his kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zackary Allred in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tory Pringle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carrboro's Jacques Doe managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jimmy Helberg in the 7 minute of the game. Rufus Bryant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacques Doe, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Tory Pringle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zackary Allred in the 11th minute of the match. When Gabriel Weaver fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carrboro's protests and gave Gabriel Weaver a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Carrboro got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Weaver. Tory Pringle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wesley Daniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After having played for 15 minutes, Zackary Allred managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Green Machine's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zackary Allred was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gabriel Weaver kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. With a little luck, Green Machine's Rufus Bryant got control of the ball when Frank Brandt tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Green Machine's Ronaldo Gordo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After having played for 22 minutes, Jacques Doe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carrboro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacques Doe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 24 minutes, Lonnie Cervantes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carrboro and the Green Machine players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Green Machine booed when Carrboro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lonnie Cervantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carrboro's goalkeeper Tory Pringle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tory Pringle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Carlton in the 27th minute of the match. After 33 minutes, Boyce Riddle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carrboro and the Green Machine players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Green Machine booed when Carrboro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boyce Riddle didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th match minute, Green Machine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Gordo to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Carrboro booed when Green Machine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emmanuel Doherty didn't get a good kick on the ball. Green Machine's Rufus Bryant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Green Machine from getting a goal against them. Tory Pringle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zackary Allred, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Frank Brandt fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carrboro's protests and gave Frank Brandt a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes Carrboro got a freekick which was hit by Frank Brandt. After the first half Green Machine were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacques Doe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rufus Bryant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lonnie Cervantes in the 52nd minute of play. Noel Carlton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tory Pringle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Carrboro's Tory Pringle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zackary Allred in the 61st minute of play. Tory Pringle made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Zackary Allred sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute, Zackary Allred fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 65th minute, Noel Carlton made a precise shot to the right of Tory Pringle. Carrboro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Noel Carlton might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tory Pringle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Noel Carlton ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Belmiro Jacinto during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rufus Bryant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lonnie Cervantes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Noel Carlton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Tory Pringle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Zackary Allred ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tory Pringle was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Tory Pringle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zackary Allred's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. A collision led to Green Machine getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Troy Croft hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute Lonnie Cervantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rufus Bryant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tory Pringle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zackary Allred in the 84th minute of the match. A collision led to Green Machine getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Wesley Daniel hit a great ball. Lonnie Cervantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rufus Bryant having to interfere. Zackary Allred fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tory Pringle having to interfere. Jacques Doe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Zackary Felix fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carrboro's protests and gave Zackary Felix a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 played minutes Carrboro got a freekick which was hit by Zackary Felix. The audience was convinced that Jacques Doe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rufus Bryant was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Troy Croft charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Troy Croft the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute, Troy Croft hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Carrboro supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Green Machine's performance. The match ended with a win for Green Machine.
