The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cimarrones FC's Duke Atwood played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Warren in the 2nd minute of play. John Stein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Winston Ladner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cimarrones FC's Duke Atwood played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Warren in the 12th minute of play. Duke Atwood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doug Haley, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Winston Ladner made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Mitchell Thornton sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to livermore sc getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Kelly Emerson hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute Edgardo Bowser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duke Atwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cimarrones FC's Lane Moseley got a free kick in the 24th minute. Mitchell Thornton might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Winston Ladner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mitchell Thornton ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernie Braswell in the 30th minute of play forced Cimarrones FC's goalkeeper Duke Atwood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cimarrones FC's attentive Thomas Ng managed to snatch the ball when Grant Flanagan made a throw-in in the 39th minute of the game. In the 44th minute, Mitchell Thornton fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Winston Ladner, passed just outside the right post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgardo Bowser stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Doug Haley scored 0-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Duke Atwood, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Duke Atwood made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Warren in the 57th minute of play. Winston Ladner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mitchell Thornton, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 60 minutes of play, livermore sc's Ernie Braswell made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Duke Atwood was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cimarrones FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Edgardo Bowser scored to the left of an out of position Duke Atwood, making the score, 0-3. Lane Moseley's late challenge caught a livermore sc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lane Moseley helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cimarrones FC's Lane Moseley got a free kick in the 68th minute. The long shot by Kelly Emerson in the 69th minute really tested Duke Atwood's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Mitchell Thornton might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Winston Ladner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mitchell Thornton ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Duke Atwood successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cimarrones FC's Duke Atwood proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Cimarrones FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Cimarrones FC booed when livermore sc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tuan Bragg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, livermore sc's goal looked a bit too open when Brant Bustamante came free, but Winston Ladner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute Leon Warren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duke Atwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cimarrones FC's Duke Atwood proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Cimarrones FC from getting a goal against them. 91 minutes into the match, Edgardo Bowser dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Duke Atwood, 0-4. When the final whistle sounded livermore sc left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cimarrones FC.
