The referee ignored Heat Wave Sports's protests and gave Xavier Gobeo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Xavier Gobeo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 16 minutes, Garth Smart mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Floral City and the Heat Wave Sports players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Norman Land made a kick off. In the 54th minute Stevie Reilly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Curt Herring saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, J.P. Kirkland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Heat Wave Sports's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Floral City the free kick. In the 64th minute, Salvatore Huntley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Norman Land managed to get in a good position for a shot. Floral City's supporters rose to their feet, but Norman Land was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vincenzo Ross breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 72 minutes, Derrick Pierre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Floral City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Derrick Pierre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Curt Herring came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Heat Wave Sports's Xavier Gobeo. But to his dismay, Xavier Gobeo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Xavier Gobeo struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Curt Herring didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heat Wave Sports. Curt Herring showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stevie Reilly in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Xavier Gobeo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Curt Herring saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Geraldo Clinton fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Floral City's protests and gave Geraldo Clinton a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Floral City getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Geraldo Clinton hit a great ball. Salvatore Huntley kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Xavier Gobeo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Heat Wave Sports's supporters rose to their feet, but Xavier Gobeo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Curt Herring breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Heat Wave Sports were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Floral City for a fine match.
