Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Blair Merritt kicked off to start the match. Monte Goldsmith scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Percy Almeida, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 8 minutes, Benito Byrd mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Virga City Vipers and the San Martin SJ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benito Byrd kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. The supporters of Virga City Vipers booed when San Martin SJ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mason Woodward didn't get a good kick on the ball. Percy Almeida stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Blair Merritt's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. With a little luck, San Martin SJ's Percy Almeida got control of the ball when Blair Merritt tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Blair Merritt in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Percy Almeida saved San Martin SJ from getting behind. Kareem Richter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Percy Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, San Martin SJ's goalkeeper Percy Almeida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Monte Goldsmith. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Blair Merritt took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Percy Almeida to make any attempt to save it. Blair Merritts short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Percy Almeida to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Percy Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kareem Richter in the 32nd minute of the match. With a little luck, San Martin SJ's Percy Almeida got control of the ball when Blair Merritt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Blair Merritt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Percy Almeida made a huge save. A collision led to San Martin SJ getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Glauco da Rocha hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, Virga City Vipers's goal looked a bit too open when Mason Woodward came free, but Rueben Ryan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blair Merritt got free with Percy Almeida in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Blair Merritt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Percy Almeida when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Franklin Wilcox fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rueben Ryan having to interfere. After a rather tough play, San Martin SJ's Mason Woodward got a free kick in the 67th minute. Mason Woodward struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Rueben Ryan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Martin SJ. The throw-in from Benito Byrd in the 71st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by San Martin SJ's Jamar Holliday. Bradly Goldsmith hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. When Monte Goldsmith came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Virga City Vipers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Monte Goldsmith couldn't finish the play. After 75 minutes of play, Virga City Vipers's Blair Merritt made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Percy Almeida was left in no man's land by his defense there! 79 minutes into the game, Edmundo Zaragoza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Virga City Vipers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Martin SJ the free kick. Edmundo Zaragoza hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Blair Merritt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Percy Almeida was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Monte Goldsmith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percy Almeida having to interfere. Percy Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blair Merritt in the 90th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the game, Virga City Vipers's Blair Merritt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Percy Almeida made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Blair Merritt in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Percy Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
