A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Son Gaines managed to get in a good position for a shot. Knoxville United FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Son Gaines was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vince Shook breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
