In the 10th minute Bradly Salinas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raymundo Uster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If James Haas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bradly Salinas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Raymundo Uster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bradly Salinas during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 38 minutes of play, Agustin FC's Domenic Locke made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Shelby Mercer was left in no man's land by his defense there! 41 minutes into the match, Victoria's goalkeeper Shelby Mercer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domenic Locke. After 44 played minutes, Agustin FC's Rene Lim shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Shelby Mercer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Agustin FC reached it. Shelby Mercer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Whaley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alberto Whaley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenic Locke in the 53rd minute of play forced Victoria's goalkeeper Shelby Mercer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raymundo Uster came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Victoria's Terrell Lunsford. But to his dismay, Terrell Lunsford quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Terrell Lunsford took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raymundo Uster. Raymundo Uster dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2.
