Vince Shook was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Blair Merritt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 39 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Blair Merritt during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th minute of the match Lamar Anderson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vince Shook skillfully saved the ball. If 严延宁 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. West Wyoming made a substitution. Hunter Grier replaced Tyrese Fisher. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blair Merritt in the 69th minute of play forced West Wyoming's goalkeeper Vince Shook to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vince Shook stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Blair Merritt's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Blair Merritt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vince Shook having to interfere. Virga City Vipers's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
