To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the match, West Wyoming's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Blackburn came free, but Vince Shook reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, L.A. Wolves F.C's goalkeeper Brant Palacios had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 庄义明. 严延宁 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Brant Palacios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Andy Roberson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute of the match Tyrese Odell sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vince Shook skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to L.A. Wolves F.C getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Tim McDermott hit a great ball. After having played for 35 minutes, 庄义明 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. West Wyoming's supporters crossed their fingers, but 庄义明 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, L.A. Wolves F.C's Andy Roberson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vince Shook narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 庄义明 made a kick off. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 2-1 when 庄义明 sped through L.A. Wolves F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Brant Palacios. West Wyoming made a substitution. Hunter Grier replaced Tyrese Fisher.
