Spectators: 7924 (Terracing: 5988, Seating: 1836, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abraham Mora started the match with the kick off. Devin Purvis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chad Whitman's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute, Bryant Stallings sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bermuda Dunes FC's Devin Purvis didn't even have to move. 7 minutes into the match, Bermuda Dunes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Hogan came free, but Devin Purvis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute Chad Whitman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Devin Purvis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Devin Purvis made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Ferdinand Combs sent off a good shot on target. Devin Purvis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Hogan in the 15th minute of play. Quintin McAlpin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Walter Loomis got free with Devin Purvis in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elliot Gallegos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quintin McAlpin in the 24th minute of the match. When Nelson Spears fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cochituate's protests and gave Nelson Spears a yellow card for diving instead. After 26 played minutes Cochituate got a freekick which was hit by Nelson Spears. If Abraham Mora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walter Loomis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Devin Purvis having to interfere. A hard shot 33 in the game by Walter Loomis from a close distance when the talented Devin Purvis managed to make a qualified save. Bermuda Dunes FC's players were relieved. Bermuda Dunes FC's Devin Purvis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Bermuda Dunes FC from getting a goal against them. Walter Loomis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Devin Purvis made a huge save. When Quintin McAlpin came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Bermuda Dunes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quintin McAlpin couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chad Whitman was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Cochituate's Elliot Gallegos got control of the ball when Omar Johnson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55th minute Abraham Mora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elliot Gallegos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alistair Parks hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Abraham Mora blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elliot Gallegos having to make a save. Walter Loomis took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Devin Purvis. Devin Purvis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Elliot Gallegos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Mora, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 80 minutes into the game, Quintin McAlpin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Elliot Gallegos. Quintin McAlpin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Devin Purvis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chad Whitman in the 84th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cochituate's zone, Federico Peterson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elliot Gallegos came out of the goal and Federico Peterson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Bermuda Dunes FC's Federico Peterson got a free kick in the 90th minute. Walter Loomis struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Devin Purvis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cochituate. 95 minutes into the game, Bermuda Dunes FC's Omar Johnson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elliot Gallegos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. When the match was over Bermuda Dunes FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cochituate throughout the match.
