Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ralph Hammons took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Ralph Hammons recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Chase Workman. Ralph Hammons showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Chase Workman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edward Villarreal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 10 minute of play. Chase Workman made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Ralph Hammons sent off a good shot on target. When Garth Johns came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Lake Providence fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Garth Johns couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Villarreal got free with Chase Workman in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Garth Johns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute of the match, Ralph Hammons tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Chase Workman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 29 minutes into the match, Edward Villarreal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chase Workman. Zanice FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Villarreal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Stuart Carr struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Antony Cunningham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zanice FC. Zanice FC's Chase Workman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Zanice FC from getting a goal against them. Chase Workman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralph Hammons in the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stuart Carr stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ralph Hammons in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chase Workman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chase Workman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Villarreal, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Ralph Hammons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Edward Villarreal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the game, Moses Fish was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zanice FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lake Providence the free kick. A collision led to Zanice FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Moses Fish hit a great ball. Clayton Harper kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edward Villarreal in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chase Workman saved Zanice FC from getting behind. In the 73rd minute Edward Villarreal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chase Workman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ralph Hammons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Chase Workman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Stuart Carr managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zanice FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Stuart Carr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antony Cunningham breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chase Workman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralph Hammons, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stuart Carr's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antony Cunningham read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Chase Workman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralph Hammons, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Stuart Carr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antony Cunningham having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lake Providence's Tad Riddle got a free kick in the 83rd minute. The audience was convinced that Stuart Carr's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antony Cunningham was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 90th minute, one of Lake Providence:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lake Providence. The referee gave Zanice FC a penalty, 92 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Moses Fish, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lake Providence's Antony Cunningham. 3-1. Lake Providence walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
