Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Chad Whitman kicked off to start the match. When Walter Loomis came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Cochituate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walter Loomis couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Barka defense, Walter Loomis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Scot Davila. The Barka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Scot Davila should have stopped the shot. Clint Crocker hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Elliot Gallegos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tom Hager, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Cochituate's goalkeeper Elliot Gallegos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tom Hager. Elliot Gallegos was a little too slow when Tom Hager got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-1. The supporters of Cochituate booed when Barka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Tracy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stephan Cowan kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. If Chad Whitman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 52nd minute, Lucas Hogan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 played minutes Cochituate got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Hogan. In the 58th minute of the match Murray Lucas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elliot Gallegos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Barka's goal looked a bit too open when Chad Whitman came free, but Scot Davila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Chad Whitman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Scot Davila was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Walter Loomis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barka's Cesar Dillon got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Tom Hager managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barka's supporters rose to their feet, but Tom Hager was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elliot Gallegos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Cochituate getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Lucas Hogan hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chad Whitman in the 79th minute of play forced Barka's goalkeeper Scot Davila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Tom Hager managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barka's supporters rose to their feet, but Tom Hager was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elliot Gallegos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the game, Leif Perdue was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cochituate the free kick. Leif Perdue hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Scot Davila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chad Whitman in the 96th minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
