Tim Dow made an important save on a dangerous shot by Theodore Osborne in the 6th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcellus Acero got free with Tim Dow in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The San Juan de Argentina FC fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when San Juan de Argentina FC's Theodore Osborne looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 13 minutes into the match, Bethlehem's goalkeeper Tim Dow had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Theodore Osborne. After 14 played minutes Bethlehem got a freekick which was hit by Darin Villalobos. After 16 played minutes Bethlehem got a freekick which was hit by Freddie Langford. With an all-out effort, San Juan de Argentina FC's Tim Dow threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jesse Roth, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Marcellus Acero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Tim Dow made a huge save. When Darin Villalobos fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bethlehem's protests and gave Darin Villalobos a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of San Juan de Argentina FC booed when Bethlehem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darin Villalobos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Theodore Osborne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Tim Dow made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Bethlehem's zone, Gilbert Cornelius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tim Dow came out of the goal and Gilbert Cornelius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Henderson in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Winston Rosario prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The supporters of San Juan de Argentina FC booed when Bethlehem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddie Langford didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tim Dow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesse Roth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in San Juan de Argentina FC's zone, Thomas Henderson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tim Dow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcellus Acero in the 62nd minute of play. Thomas Henderson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Thomas Henderson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 88 minutes, Thomas Henderson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bethlehem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Henderson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
