In the 3rd match minute, Bermuda Dunes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alistair Parks to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quintin McAlpin in the 5th minute of play forced Lake Providence's goalkeeper Antony Cunningham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Villarreal got free with Devin Purvis in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bermuda Dunes FC's Devin Purvis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralph Hammons in the 9th minute of play. Ralph Hammons received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Devin Purvis came out and tried to block the shot, but Ralph Hammons slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. Abraham Mora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute of the match, Ralph Hammons tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Devin Purvis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralph Hammons in the 30th minute of play forced Bermuda Dunes FC's goalkeeper Devin Purvis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Quintin McAlpin in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antony Cunningham prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abraham Mora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Garth Johns got free with Devin Purvis in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Bermuda Dunes FC booed when Lake Providence was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tad Riddle didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abraham Mora was the one to do the kick off. Devin Purvis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralph Hammons, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Lake Providence booed when Bermuda Dunes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alistair Parks didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quintin McAlpin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th match minute, Bermuda Dunes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alistair Parks to maneuver through the defense. Nathanial Medley charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Quintin McAlpin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antony Cunningham having to interfere. Quintin McAlpin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Devin Purvis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilton Pollock, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. With a little luck, Lake Providence's Antony Cunningham got control of the ball when Quintin McAlpin tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Omar Johnson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antony Cunningham made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Quintin McAlpin sent off a good shot on target. Bermuda Dunes FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Lake Providence had won, even though Bermuda Dunes FC had held more of the ball.
