After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Tom Hager managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Barka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Scot Davila should have stopped the shot. After having played for 28 minutes, Ali Patton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lake Providence's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Patton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edward Villarreal in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Scot Davila prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edward Villarreal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Scot Davila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute Tom Hager shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antony Cunningham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Wilton Pollock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cesar Dillon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Antony Cunningham made a huge save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tom Hager to strike the kick off in the second half. Nathanial Medley hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Lake Providence's Terrell Cross got a free kick in the 54th minute. 58 minutes into the game, Darrell Lopes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lake Providence's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barka the free kick. After 58 played minutes Lake Providence got a freekick which was hit by Darrell Lopes. Edward Villarreal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Barka getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Leif Perdue hit a great ball. If Edward Villarreal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 73rd minute, Filiberto Salazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Filiberto Salazar fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barka's protests and gave Filiberto Salazar a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Barka's Filiberto Salazar got a free kick in the 75th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Edward Villarreal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Scot Davila. That made the score 1-2 in the 80 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Cesar Dillon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barka's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesar Dillon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antony Cunningham breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 87 minutes of play Barka's Filiberto Salazar was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes into the match, Cesar Dillon notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Lake Providence's Antony Cunningham. Antony Cunningham was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Lake Providence players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Barka from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
