Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Harvey Dubose took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Landon Hirsch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Thomas Henderson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bethlehem's Tim Dow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harvey Dubose in the 10th minute of play. Armando Shockley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Morgan Paul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute Denis Rucker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Dow saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ripley's Basil Edmondson pulled a muscle in his leg after 14 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Armando Shockley's late challenge caught a Ripley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armando Shockley helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bethlehem getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Armando Shockley hit a great ball. Morgan Paul made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thomas Henderson in the 20th minute. After 21 minutes, Landon Hirsch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ripley and the Bethlehem players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 played minutes Ripley got a freekick which was hit by Landon Hirsch. After a defensive mix-up in Ripley's zone, Thomas Henderson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Morgan Paul came out of the goal and Thomas Henderson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Ripley's Harvey Dubose got a free kick in the 30th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Thomas Henderson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bethlehem's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Henderson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Morgan Paul breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Denis Rucker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Thomas Henderson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bethlehem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. With a little luck, Ripley's Morgan Paul got control of the ball when Thomas Henderson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Denis Rucker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 56 minutes, Thomas Henderson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bethlehem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Henderson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bethlehem's zone, Denis Rucker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tim Dow came out of the goal and Denis Rucker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bethlehem's Thomas Henderson got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ripley's Landon Hirsch got his second yellow card of the match in the 68th minute. The referee ordered Landon Hirsch off the ground. During the 71st minute of the match Armando Shockley completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Armando Shockley a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Bethlehem's Armando Shockley got a free kick in the 71st minute. Tim Dow was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Harvey Dubose showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 72 minute of play. Despite being the better team, Bethlehem failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
