The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fort Pierce Sqwewouth AFC. If Rod Worthington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Ibarra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rod Worthington struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Antony Cunningham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fort Pierce Sqwewouth AFC. A collision led to Lake Providence getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Nathanial Medley hit a great ball. Rod Worthington didn't quite understand what happened when in the 41 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Fort Pierce Sqwewouth AFC's Rod Worthington got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Wilbur Starnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antony Cunningham having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Lake Providence's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Little came free, but Antony Cunningham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernesto Ibarra scored 2-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antony Cunningham, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fort Pierce Sqwewouth AFC's Ernesto Ibarra got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Lake Providence's Jeff McGrath got a free kick in the 60th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Fort Pierce Sqwewouth AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Villarreal came free, but Alonso Romo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alonso Romo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Patton in the 69th minute of play. Antony Cunningham made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilbur Starnes in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Villarreal in the 73rd minute of play forced Fort Pierce Sqwewouth AFC's goalkeeper Alonso Romo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Jeff McGrath hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rod Worthingtons short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Antony Cunningham to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rod Worthington sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Ernesto Ibarra kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Antony Cunningham. That made the score 2-2 in the 92 minute of play. Rod Worthington's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Antony Cunningham firmly grabbed it by the left post. Fort Pierce Sqwewouth AFC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
