Wade Graham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Bermuda Dunes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raymundo Blankenship came free, but Devin Purvis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Devin Purvis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raymundo Blankenship, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Raymundo Blankenship made the kick off in the second half. Wade Watson hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Wade Graham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quintin McAlpin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Bermuda Dunes FC booed when FC Cincinnati was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tom Barrow didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quintin McAlpin, 88 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
