Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Luther Acevedo made the kick off which started today's match. Dominic Coffman made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Edward Villarreal sent off a good shot on target. Wilton Pollock recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edward Villarreal might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dominic Coffman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Villarreal ran back to his position shaking his head. Edward Villarreal took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dominic Coffman. Dominic Coffman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Luther Acevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Lake Providence's zone, Luther Acevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antony Cunningham came out of the goal and Luther Acevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Luther Acevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Ralph Hammons managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lake Providence's supporters rose to their feet, but Ralph Hammons was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dominic Coffman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Scott Wesley's late challenge caught a Lake Providence's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Scott Wesley helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Helena FC's Scott Wesley got a free kick in the 43rd minute. With a little luck, Helena FC's Dominic Coffman got control of the ball when Edward Villarreal tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ralph Hammons managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lake Providence's supporters rose to their feet, but Ralph Hammons was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dominic Coffman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ralph Hammons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Dominic Coffman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dominic Coffman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Villarreal, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Helena FC's Dominic Coffman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Villarreal in the 65th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Lake Providence's Garth Johns sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dominic Coffman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dominic Coffman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralph Hammons in the 71st minute of play. Helena FC's Dominic Coffman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralph Hammons in the 78th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ralph Hammons in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dominic Coffman saved Helena FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralph Hammons in the 86th minute of play forced Helena FC's goalkeeper Dominic Coffman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Lake Providence's goalkeeper Antony Cunningham had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luther Acevedo. 92 minutes into the game, Lake Providence's Ralph Hammons nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dominic Coffman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Jonas Quintero's late challenge caught a Lake Providence's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Quintero helped the player get up and apologised. Jonas Quintero hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When Edward Villarreal came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Lake Providence fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edward Villarreal couldn't finish the play.
