Chase Workman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Henderson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Thomas Henderson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bethlehem's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Henderson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chase Workman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chase Workman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Henderson in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of Bethlehem booed when Zanice FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Holloway didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zanice FC's Chase Workman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Henderson in the 17th minute of play. Freddie Langford hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 33rd match minute, Zanice FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Holloway to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Zanice FC defense, Thomas Henderson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chase Workman. The Zanice FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chase Workman should have stopped the shot. 37 minutes into the match, Bethlehem's goal looked a bit too open when Kenny Kelly came free, but Tim Dow reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Thomas Henderson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bethlehem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Freddie Langford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Thomas Henderson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stuart Carr to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Zanice FC's zone, Thomas Henderson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chase Workman came out of the goal and Thomas Henderson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thomas Henderson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chase Workman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th match minute, Zanice FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Holloway to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the match, Bethlehem's goal looked a bit too open when Stuart Carr came free, but Tim Dow reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute of the match Dane May sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tim Dow skillfully saved the ball. Zanice FC's Kenny Kelly managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cason Aranda in the 81 minute of the game. Tim Dow didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stuart Carr went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clayton Harper during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Zanice FC's Clayton Harper got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute of the match, Thomas Henderson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Chase Workman was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 89 minutes into the game, Richard Holloway was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zanice FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bethlehem the free kick. The supporters of Bethlehem booed when Zanice FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Holloway didn't get a good kick on the ball. Many of Bethlehem's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Bethlehem may have spent more time on the ball, but Zanice FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
