Elliot Gallegos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesse Roth in the 16th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Chad Whitman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cochituate's supporters rose to their feet, but Chad Whitman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Winston Rosario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chad Whitman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcellus Acero's late challenge caught a Cochituate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcellus Acero helped the player get up and apologised. Winston Rosario came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Cochituate's Walter Loomis. But to his dismay, Walter Loomis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Marcellus Acero hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesse Roth in the 37th minute of play forced Cochituate's goalkeeper Elliot Gallegos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, San Juan de Argentina FC's Marcellus Acero got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 44 minutes into the match, San Juan de Argentina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chad Whitman came free, but Winston Rosario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The San Juan de Argentina FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cochituate were winning 0-1.

If Theodore Osborne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
