Spectators: 7759 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 159) Bermuda Dunes FC's Abraham Mora started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mathews AFC's Boyce McElroy shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 7th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Devin Purvis but with some difficulty. In the 9th minute Abraham Mora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ethan Frey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Mathews AFC booed when Bermuda Dunes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Peterson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Devin Purvis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reyes Edmondson in the 18th minute of the match. If Abraham Mora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reyes Edmondson charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reyes Edmondson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Reyes Edmondson kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Quintin McAlpin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ethan Frey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quintin McAlpin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mathews AFC's zone, Abraham Mora stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ethan Frey came out of the goal and Abraham Mora tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Quintin McAlpin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ethan Frey was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. In the 40th minute Abraham Mora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ethan Frey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ethan Frey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quintin McAlpin, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Abraham Mora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ethan Frey having to interfere. Quintin McAlpin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Mathews AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Quintin McAlpin came free, but Ethan Frey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reyes Edmondson made a kick off. Ethan Frey made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Quintin McAlpin sent off a good shot on target. Abraham Mora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ethan Frey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abraham Mora might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ethan Frey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abraham Mora ran back to his position shaking his head. Quintin McAlpin scored 0-1 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ethan Frey, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abraham Mora might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ethan Frey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abraham Mora ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Bermuda Dunes FC's Omar Johnson got a free kick in the 72nd minute. If Abraham Mora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bermuda Dunes FC's Abraham Mora got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bermuda Dunes FC's Devin Purvis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cason Parks in the 79th minute of play. 83 minutes in the game, Abraham Mora fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ethan Frey having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Alistair Parks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Abraham Mora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Mathews AFC's Ethan Frey got control of the ball when Quintin McAlpin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bermuda Dunes FC played a much better game than Mathews AFC and deserved their victory. The Mathews AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
