Armando Shockley charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, Bethlehem's Armando Shockley got a free kick in the 3rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Scott Long during the 12th minute. Thomas Henderson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Bethlehem getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Maurice Myers hit a great ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Malcolm Prescott managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fort Pierce Sqwewouth AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Malcolm Prescott was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute Wilbur Starnes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Dow saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Fort Pierce Sqwewouth AFC booed when Bethlehem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian Baxter didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Wilbur Starnes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fort Pierce Sqwewouth AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilbur Starnes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tim Dow breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 30 minutes into the game, Fort Pierce Sqwewouth AFC's Rod Worthington nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tim Dow made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After having played for 34 minutes, Rod Worthington managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fort Pierce Sqwewouth AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rod Worthington was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilbur Starnes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tim Dow read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Thomas Henderson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Alonso Romo made a huge save. Tim Dow showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rod Worthington, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Wilbur Starnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Dow having to interfere. Wilbur Starnes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Tim Dow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theron Petty in the 47th minute of play forced Bethlehem's goalkeeper Tim Dow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Fort Pierce Sqwewouth AFC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rod Worthington to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Thomas Henderson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonso Romo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tim Dow didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Fort Pierce Sqwewouth AFC's Rod Worthington shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-4 in the ordered_time% minute. After 57 played minutes Fort Pierce Sqwewouth AFC got a freekick which was hit by Wilbur Starnes. Tim Dow made an important save on a dangerous shot by Malcolm Prescott in the 59th minute. 64 minutes into the game, Claudio Little recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tim Dow. Claudio Little showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Rod Worthington recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Malcolm Prescott's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tim Dow firmly grabbed it by the left post. Claudio Little hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Rod Worthington took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Tim Dow to make any attempt to save it. Fort Pierce Sqwewouth AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
