Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000,
Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ferry Pass's Zack Harris started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cory Grover in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrian Beck saved Ferry Pass from getting behind. In the 5th minute Renegade AFC were awarded a corner. Bo Krause went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Reginald Burns got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 5 minutes into the match. After having played for 10 minutes, Cory Grover managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Renegade AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cory Grover was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Rashad Fugate kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving César Prestes. That made the score 1-1 in the 12 minute of play. Adrian Beck came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Renegade AFC's Cory Grover. But to his dismay, Cory Grover quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Brendon Ivey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Frank Trotter made a precise shot to the right of Adrian Beck. Ferry Pass's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Ferry Pass's Adrian Beck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reginald Burns in the 24th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Zack Harris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rashad Fugate hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Cory Grover notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Ferry Pass's Adrian Beck. Adrian Beck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. César Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derrick McIntosh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ash Reading had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brendon Ivey struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Adrian Beck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Renegade AFC. The Ferry Pass players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Renegade AFC were winning 1-4.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cory Grover to strike the kick off in the second half. Cory Grover fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Beck having to interfere. Adrian Beck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cory Grover's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Adrian Beck was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cory Grover showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 57 minute of play. In the 61st minute, Brendon Ivey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cory Grover in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrian Beck saved Ferry Pass from getting behind. In the 63rd minute, Rashad Fugate hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cory Grover sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th match minute, Ferry Pass was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rashad Fugate to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Ash Reading kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adrian Beck. That made the score 1-7 in the 74 minute of play. Adrian Beck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cory Grover, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Renegade AFC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Szczepan Turacki hit a great ball. Adrian Beck made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Frank Trotter sent off a good shot on target. The Renegade AFC fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Renegade AFC's Cory Grover looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 89th minute, Johnathon Uribe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrian Beck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cory Grover in the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendon Ivey in the 93rd minute of play forced Ferry Pass's goalkeeper Adrian Beck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Renegade AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
