Santo Fitzpatrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Whitten in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christian Marcones was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Diboll's goalkeeper Cameron Parnell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Marcones. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joesph Fletcher in the 92nd minute of play forced Freer AFC's goalkeeper Santo Fitzpatrick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freer AFC played a much better game than Diboll and deserved their victory. The Diboll players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
