In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC AUSTIN's goalkeeper Lorenzo Smith, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lorenzo Smith prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ash Reading hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 29 played minutes FC AUSTIN got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Melton. When Rodrigo Biggs came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the FC AUSTIN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Biggs couldn't finish the play. Lorenzo Smith stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cory Grover's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Levi Esposito charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Levi Esposito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th match minute, FC AUSTIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Levi Esposito to maneuver through the defense. Randell Whitley kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Lorenzo Smith made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Cory Grover sent off a good shot on target. Lorenzo Smith didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 64th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Arturo Melton hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. A long shot from Bo Krause in the 69th minute of play was well struck, but Lorenzo Smith made a really good save at the right post. FC AUSTIN's Lorenzo Smith played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cory Grover in the 70th minute of play. Cory Grover sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to FC AUSTIN getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Arturo Melton hit a great ball. FC AUSTIN's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Brendon Ivey 80 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. In the 84th minute, FC AUSTIN's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Reginald Burns fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Bryce Daugherty kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 87 minutes into the game, when Devon Rodgers put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Renegade AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
