The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walker Collins in the 3rd minute of play forced Inter de Antrax FC's goalkeeper Jake Cronshagen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Saby Dimers's Colin Sheehan got a free kick in the 6th minute. Edgar Toth might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Deshawn Hastings. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgar Toth ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Saby Dimers's Deshawn Hastings got control of the ball when Edgar Toth tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vince Bentley hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. If Edgar Toth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Walker Collins ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jake Cronshagen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. A hard shot 38 in the game by J.P. Urbina from a close distance when the talented Deshawn Hastings managed to make a qualified save. Saby Dimers's players were relieved.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Walker Collins was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Inter de Antrax FC's goalkeeper Jake Cronshagen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Walker Collins. After having played for 58 minutes, Jonathon Glover managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saby Dimers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathon Glover was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Percy Tidwell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter de Antrax FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Percy Tidwell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Deshawn Hastings breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 70 minutes into the game, Walker Collins was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saby Dimers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter de Antrax FC the free kick. After 75 minutes of play, Saby Dimers's Walker Collins made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jake Cronshagen was left in no man's land by his defense there! J.P. Urbina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deshawn Hastings having to interfere. A collision led to Inter de Antrax FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Brendan Crowe hit a great ball. Darin Finn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deshawn Hastings having to interfere. If Percy Tidwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Percy Tidwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Deshawn Hastings tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saby Dimers played a much better game than Inter de Antrax FC and deserved their victory. The Inter de Antrax FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
