Spectators: 7921 (Terracing: 5986, Seating: 1835, VIP seats: 100) Diboll's Joesph Fletcher started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Werner Rhoades recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Joesph Fletcher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deshawn Hastings took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Werner Rhoades, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joesph Fletcher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joesph Fletcher in the 13th minute of play forced Saby Dimers's goalkeeper Deshawn Hastings to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Diboll getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Curtis Calhoun hit a great ball. Cameron Parnell made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Jonathon Glover sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Werner Rhoades in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Deshawn Hastings prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Saby Dimers getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Wendell Lackey hit a great ball. Joesph Fletcher scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Deshawn Hastings, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 33 minutes into the game, Terrance Poirier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saby Dimers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Diboll the free kick. Cameron Parnell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walker Collins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Diboll were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Walker Collins made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Walker Collins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saby Dimers's supporters rose to their feet, but Walker Collins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cameron Parnell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joesph Fletcher in the 61st minute of play forced Saby Dimers's goalkeeper Deshawn Hastings to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saby Dimers's Deshawn Hastings proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Saby Dimers from getting a goal against them. Colin Sheehan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Saby Dimers's goalkeeper Deshawn Hastings had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Werner Rhoades. Jonathon Glover hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Saby Dimers's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Werner Rhoades fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Deshawn Hastings showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joesph Fletcher in the 76th minute of the match. Deshawn Hastings was a little too slow when Joesph Fletcher got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-3. Cameron Parnell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walker Collins in the 80th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Colin Sheehan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Deshawn Hastings showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joesph Fletcher, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute, Werner Rhoades left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Diboll fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Sherman Whitmore hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Diboll eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
