Curtis Carter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Werner Rhoades in the 8th minute of play forced Inter de Antrax FC's goalkeeper Jake Cronshagen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inter de Antrax FC's Jake Cronshagen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joesph Fletcher in the 9th minute of play. After 13 minutes, Vince Bentley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inter de Antrax FC and the Diboll players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th minute Joesph Fletcher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jake Cronshagen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Curtis Carter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute Werner Rhoades shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jake Cronshagen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Federico Duarte charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Federico Duarte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th minute, one of Diboll:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Diboll. Edgar Toth struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Cameron Parnell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter de Antrax FC. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joesph Fletcher was the one to do the kick off. When Bret Cope fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diboll's protests and gave Bret Cope a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th minute Joesph Fletcher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jake Cronshagen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inter de Antrax FC's Jake Cronshagen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bret Cope in the 58th minute of play. Werner Rhoades succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 61st playminute. With an all-out effort, Diboll's Jake Cronshagen threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kraig Snell, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Diboll's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
