Werner Rhoades might have been able to make a better finish in the 2nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vincent Crabtree. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Werner Rhoades ran back to his position shaking his head. Leif Marshall's late challenge caught a Diboll's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leif Marshall helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd match minute, MagnatuFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leif Marshall to maneuver through the defense. 6 minutes into the match, Werner Rhoades had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vincent Crabtree. MagnatuFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Werner Rhoades was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 10th minute, one of Diboll:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Diboll. Joesph Fletcher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Elliott Andrade made a precise shot to the right of Cameron Parnell. Diboll's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Cameron Parnell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elliott Andrade in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute Gilberto Brandt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cameron Parnell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Curtis Calhoun charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Curtis Calhoun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some careless play in the MagnatuFC defense, Joesph Fletcher kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vincent Crabtree. The MagnatuFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vincent Crabtree should have stopped the shot. Vincent Crabtree made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joesph Fletcher in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Joesph Fletcher made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to MagnatuFC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Kelly Irwin hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Bret Cope got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bret Cope fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Crabtree having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, MagnatuFC's goal looked a bit too open when Joesph Fletcher came free, but Vincent Crabtree reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diboll's Cameron Parnell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Brandt in the 85th minute of play. Vincent Crabtree made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joesph Fletcher in the 87th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joesph Fletcher in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vincent Crabtree prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joesph Fletcher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Crabtree having to interfere. Diboll's Cameron Parnell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elliott Andrade in the 95th minute of play. The MagnatuFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Diboll were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
