Spectators: 8110 (Terracing: 6127, Seating: 1878, VIP seats: 105) Freer AFC's Christian Marcones started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Sol Shaffer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Brendon Ivey took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Santo Fitzpatrick to make any attempt to save it. Frank Trotter received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Santo Fitzpatrick came out and tried to block the shot, but Frank Trotter slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 9th minute. Bo Krause's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santo Fitzpatrick read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Santo Fitzpatrick made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Trotter in the 16th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Trotter got free with Santo Fitzpatrick in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute Ash Reading shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Fitzpatrick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Trotter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Cory Grover managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Renegade AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cory Grover was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cory Grover got free with Santo Fitzpatrick in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 31 played minutes Freer AFC got a freekick which was hit by Shane Bagley. In the 37th minute Shane Bagley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th match minute, Freer AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nathanial Ervin to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cory Grover stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Shane Bagley hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Santo Fitzpatrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ash Reading in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Brendon Ivey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Santo Fitzpatrick was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Santo Fitzpatrick came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Renegade AFC's Frank Trotter. But to his dismay, Frank Trotter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. A collision led to Renegade AFC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Szczepan Turacki hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, Freer AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cory Grover came free, but Santo Fitzpatrick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69thth minute of the game Cory Grover who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Freer AFC's Santo Fitzpatrick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cory Grover kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Brendon Ivey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Fitzpatrick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Freer AFC defense, Frank Trotter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santo Fitzpatrick. The Freer AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santo Fitzpatrick should have stopped the shot. Brendon Ivey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Fitzpatrick having to interfere. The Renegade AFC fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Renegade AFC's Cory Grover looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Renegade AFC had played much better football throughout.
