The supporters of MagnatuFC booed when FC AUSTIN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Biggs didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Jermaine Herget had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lorenzo Smith. FC AUSTIN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jermaine Herget was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 14th minute, Rodrigo Biggs fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Vincent Crabtree, passed just outside the right post. Rene Barrow's late challenge caught a MagnatuFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rene Barrow helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th match minute, FC AUSTIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Barrow to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the game, Gilberto Brandt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Lorenzo Smith was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. MagnatuFC's Vincent Crabtree played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cameron Michael in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Brandt in the 92nd minute of play forced FC AUSTIN's goalkeeper Lorenzo Smith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Biggs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. MagnatuFC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though FC AUSTIN had controlled the match.
