An unexpectedly hard shot by Brett Page in the 12th minute of play forced FC AUSTIN's goalkeeper Lorenzo Smith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lorenzo Smith didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Trotter went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When Renegade AFC's Cory Grover in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC AUSTIN's goalie prevented a goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cory Grover couldn't finish the play. Cory Grover could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Lorenzo Smith made a huge save. Renegade AFC's Cory Grover was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 44th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cory Grover made a kick off. If Brendon Ivey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cory Grover came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Renegade AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cory Grover couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute, Cory Grover left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Renegade AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. If Cory Grover had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bryce Daugherty hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the match, FC AUSTIN's goal looked a bit too open when Reginald Burns came free, but Lorenzo Smith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Trotter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Lorenzo Smith tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cory Grover's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lorenzo Smith read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Lorenzo Smith didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Trotter went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. 95 minutes into the game, Renegade AFC's Frank Trotter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lorenzo Smith made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Renegade AFC had played much better football throughout.
