Pollock Pines AFC's Tião Galvão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danny Perdue in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th match minute, Boston University was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Coles to maneuver through the defense. Dominique Fields struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Kaspar Niinep didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pollock Pines AFC. Kaspar Niinep showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominique Fields in the 11th minute of the match. After 14 minutes of play, Pollock Pines AFC's Dominique Fields made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kaspar Niinep was left in no man's land by his defense there! 20 minutes into the game, Pollock Pines AFC's Terrance Agoos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kaspar Niinep made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Tião Galvão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lee Charles in the 27th minute of play. Kaspar Niinep made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Collin Lyles in the 29th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Pollock Pines AFC got a freekick which was hit by Collin Lyles. Kaspar Niinep made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Dominique Fields sent off a good shot on target. Danial Hammons hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The supporters of Pollock Pines AFC booed when Boston University was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Karros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pollock Pines AFC's Rhett Adair couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 37th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Boston University. In the 41st minute Dominique Fields shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaspar Niinep saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute Lee Charles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tião Galvão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tião Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danny Perdue in the 45th minute of the match. If Terrance Agoos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danny Perdue to make the kick off. Willis Tovar hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 57th match minute, Boston University was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Karros to maneuver through the defense. Collin Lyles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaspar Niinep having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Jorge Cote ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kaspar Niinep was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Kaspar Niinep showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Cote in the 74th minute of the match. Kaspar Niinep showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Terrance Agoos, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pollock Pines AFC's zone, Danny Perdue stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tião Galvão came out of the goal and Danny Perdue tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kaspar Niinep took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rhett Adair, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Terrance Agoos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Joe Schmitt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pollock Pines AFC had played much better football throughout.
