The supporters of Port Vale F.C. booed when Oswego was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernest Dukes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute, Port Vale F.C.'s Joshua Salas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Domenico Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Young Puckett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domenico Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Young Puckett in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Dukes in the 23rd minute of play forced Port Vale F.C.'s goalkeeper Domenico Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Eddy Combs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Port Vale F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oswego the free kick. In the 28th minute, Eddy Combs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Port Vale F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Young Puckett came free, but Domenico Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute of the match Jesse Calcagnini sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Domenico Sousa skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Oswego booed when Port Vale F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvis Calderon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Jesse Calcagnini sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Port Vale F.C.'s Domenico Sousa didn't even have to move. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Joshua Salas took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Michael Parnell to make any attempt to save it. 43 minutes into the match, Port Vale F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Young Puckett came free, but Domenico Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domenico Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernest Dukes, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Young Puckett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernest Dukes was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by C.J. Felix in the 59th minute of play forced Oswego's goalkeeper Michael Parnell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, C.J. After recieving a nice pass, Oswego's Jesse Calcagnini tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, C.J. Felix put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Michael Parnell. With a little luck, Port Vale F.C.'s Domenico Sousa got control of the ball when Young Puckett tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 83 minutes, Ernest Dukes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oswego's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernest Dukes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michael Parnell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joshua Salas in the 86th minute of the match. If C.J. Felix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, DeAndre Hamby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rickie Mott in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domenico Sousa saved Port Vale F.C. from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Port Vale F.C.'s DeAndre Hamby got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
