The penalty shot was made by Hugh McGowan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pollock Pines AFC's Tião Galvão. 1-0. Dominique Fields fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geraldo Littlejohn having to interfere. Terrance Agoos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Collin Lyles in the 30th minute of play forced Dent's goalkeeper Geraldo Littlejohn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th match minute, Dent was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Luke to maneuver through the defense. Geraldo Littlejohn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joe Schmitt was the one to do the kick off. Pollock Pines AFC's Tião Galvão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yong Hicks in the 56th minute of play. After 58 played minutes Dent got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Swan. Jorge Cote received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Geraldo Littlejohn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute Jorge Cote suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 66 minutes into the game, Hugh McGowan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dent's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pollock Pines AFC the free kick. Pollock Pines AFC made a substitution. Zack Edwards replaced Jorge Cote. A collision led to Dent getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Hugh McGowan hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, Willis Tovar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, Dent's goal looked a bit too open when Joe Schmitt came free, but Geraldo Littlejohn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raymond Wills kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Dent's Geraldo Littlejohn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominique Fields in the 81st minute of play. After some careless play in the Dent defense, Dominique Fields kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geraldo Littlejohn. The Dent fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geraldo Littlejohn should have stopped the shot. The Dent fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pollock Pines AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
