Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Effingham's Tuan Napier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Dukes in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Effingham's goalkeeper Tuan Napier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Young Puckett. In the 18th minute Ernest Dukes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tuan Napier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Oswego's goalkeeper Michael Parnell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Effingham's Tuan Napier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Effingham from getting a goal against them. If Leo Huber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dylan Lott in the 26th minute of play forced Oswego's goalkeeper Michael Parnell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Ernest Dukes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oswego's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernest Dukes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tuan Napier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tuan Napier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernest Dukes's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Ernest Dukes struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Tuan Napier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oswego.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Young Puckett in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tuan Napier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tuan Napier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Young Puckett went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Effingham's Tuan Napier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Young Puckett in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Effingham's goalkeeper Tuan Napier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dylan Lott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Effingham's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Oswego had won, even though Effingham had held more of the ball.
