Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Effingham's Leo Huber started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Huber in the 4th minute of play forced Dent's goalkeeper Geraldo Littlejohn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chad Hare's late challenge caught a Dent's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chad Hare helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Dent booed when Effingham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chad Hare didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute of the match Hugh McGowan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tuan Napier skillfully saved the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Benny Murphy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tuan Napier. Effingham's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benny Murphy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Dent's Mario Luke got a free kick in the 12th minute. Geraldo Littlejohn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Huber in the 15th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 17 minutes into the game, when Bruce Burnham put in a rough tackle. In the 16th minute, one of Effingham:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Effingham. The goalkeeper, Tuan Napier, was totally fooled by Dent's Hugh McGowan, who 19 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Virgil Christensen charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Virgil Christensen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Effingham's Virgil Christensen got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Willie McKenna kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After 30 minutes, Dylan Lott mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Effingham and the Dent players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 30 played minutes Effingham got a freekick which was hit by Dylan Lott. After 31 played minutes, Dent's Giovanni Swan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tuan Napier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dent reached it. In the 34th minute, Isidro McGraw got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Benny Murphy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 39 minutes, Pat Couch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dent's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pat Couch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Effingham defense, Yong Hicks kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tuan Napier. The Effingham fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tuan Napier should have stopped the shot. 44 minutes into the game, Gilberto Rivera cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Tuan Napier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The wind increased when Yong Hicks made the kick off in the second half. Dylan Lott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geraldo Littlejohn having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Pat Couch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dent's supporters rose to their feet, but Pat Couch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tuan Napier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Bernie Whitfield fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Effingham's protests and gave Bernie Whitfield a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th minute, Chad Hare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yong Hicks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dylan Lott in the 63rd minute of play forced Dent's goalkeeper Geraldo Littlejohn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tuan Napier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benny Murphy in the 65th minute of play. After 67 minutes of play, Dent's Pat Couch made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tuan Napier was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tuan Napier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pat Couch in the 69th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidro McGraw got free with Geraldo Littlejohn in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yong Hicks in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tuan Napier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Dylan Lott managed to get in a good position for a shot. Effingham's supporters rose to their feet, but Dylan Lott was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geraldo Littlejohn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 83 minutes into the match, Dylan Lott notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Dent's Geraldo Littlejohn. Geraldo Littlejohn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Effingham's Tuan Napier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovanni Swan in the 95th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benny Murphy in the 96th minute of play forced Effingham's goalkeeper Tuan Napier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Dent support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
