Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leo Huber kicked off to start the match. Tuan Napier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tim Downing in the 6th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Soldotna's Tim Downing got a free kick in the 8th minute. Effingham's Tuan Napier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tim Downing in the 16th minute of play. Tuan Napier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudolf Bean, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 17 played minutes Effingham got a freekick which was hit by Isidro McGraw. Johnny Hickman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tuan Napier. Effingham's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Woodrow Carrier hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Effingham's Tuan Napier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolf Bean in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Effingham's Chad Hare got a free kick in the 21st minute. When Leo Huber came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Effingham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Huber couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes into the match, Leo Huber dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nick Ervin, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leo Huber in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nick Ervin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Woodrow Carrier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Tuan Napier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Leo Huber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

52 minutes into the match, Effingham's goalkeeper Tuan Napier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilford Nunez. In the 57th minute, Soldotna's Darin McAlpin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tuan Napier. Tuan Napier yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. 63 minutes into the match, Effingham's goalkeeper Tuan Napier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Darin McAlpin. The audience thought a goal was coming when Darin McAlpin got free with Tuan Napier in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Soldotna's Nick Ervin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dylan Lott in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th match minute, Soldotna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Woodrow Carrier to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Effingham's zone, Darin McAlpin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tuan Napier came out of the goal and Darin McAlpin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Effingham getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Isidro McGraw hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Soldotna's Rudolf Bean got a free kick in the 76th minute. Effingham's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Tim Downing scored to the left of an out of position Tuan Napier, making the score, 1-4. Woodrow Carrier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Tuan Napier made a huge save. Wilford Nunez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Effingham's goalkeeper Tuan Napier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Darin McAlpin. 92 minutes into the match, Chad Hare had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nick Ervin. Soldotna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chad Hare was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. The Effingham supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Soldotna's performance. The match ended with a win for Soldotna.
