In the 5th minute, Benny Murphy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dent fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 9th match minute, Inter Miami CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglass Cowan to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Inter Miami CF's zone, Benny Murphy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harvey Bush came out of the goal and Benny Murphy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Harvey Bush took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yong Hicks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Benny Murphy made a precise shot to the right of Harvey Bush. Inter Miami CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Claude Ziegler's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Geraldo Littlejohn firmly grabbed it by the left post. Casey Pierre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee ignored Inter Miami CF's protests and gave Sydney Clifford a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Inter Miami CF getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Sydney Clifford hit a great ball. Benny Murphy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Harvey Bush tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harvey Bush showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yong Hicks, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Benny Murphy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harvey Bush came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Dent's Yong Hicks. But to his dismay, Yong Hicks quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3.

The wind increased when Yong Hicks made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Claude Ziegler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geraldo Littlejohn was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Benny Murphy got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Benny Murphy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inter Miami CF's Harvey Bush played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yong Hicks in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute of the match, Yong Hicks tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Harvey Bush saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Harvey Bush showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yong Hicks, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. A beautiful save bye Dent's goalie prevented a goal. Harvey Bush made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Benny Murphy sent off a good shot on target. After 91 minutes of play, Dent's Benny Murphy made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Harvey Bush was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Dent had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
