Danny Perdue made the kick off and thus started the match. After 3 played minutes Boston University got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Ledbetter. Hal McQueen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Kaspar Niinep tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boston University's Kaspar Niinep played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hal McQueen in the 11th minute of play. Grady Hernandez hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. When Hal McQueen came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Weymouth Soccer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hal McQueen couldn't finish the play. Lee Charles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Harry Holden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lee Charles, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Grady Hernandez charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Grady Hernandez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 22 minutes into the match, Weymouth Soccer's Tyrone Doe broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 23rd minute Danny Perdue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Holden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Boston University fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Boston University's Danny Perdue looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Weymouth Soccer's Randell Mullins pulled a muscle in his leg after 31 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 32 played minutes Boston University got a freekick which was hit by Trenton Estes. Kristofer Neely managed to, on his own, get straight through Boston University's defense and in the 34th minute placed the ball to the left of Kaspar Niinep. 1-1. The supporters of Weymouth Soccer booed when Boston University was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Truman Serrano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grady Hernandez got his second yellow card in the match during the 39th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Kaspar Niinep showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hal McQueen, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Hal McQueen struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Kaspar Niinep didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Weymouth Soccer. Boston University's Lee Charles got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When Jaime Brandon fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Weymouth Soccer's protests and gave Jaime Brandon a yellow card for diving instead. Harry Holden made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Lee Charles sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute, Lee Charles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Richard Karros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lee Charless short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Harry Holden to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Hal McQueen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute Matt Roth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Holden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd match minute, Boston University was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas Ledbetter to maneuver through the defense. After 84 minutes, Richard Karros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boston University and the Weymouth Soccer players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th match minute, Boston University was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Karros to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Hal McQueen made a precise shot to the right of Kaspar Niinep. Boston University's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The Weymouth Soccer support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
