Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Yong Hicks made the kick off and thus started the match. Weymouth Soccer's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Benny Murphy scored to the left of an out of position Harry Holden, making the score, 1-0. Hugh McGowan, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 24th play minute Benny Murphy came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Harry Holden. 2-0. Benny Murphy was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 28th minute. Dent's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 29th minute, Deshawn Bain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Weymouth Soccer's Harry Holden got control of the ball when Yong Hicks tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Yong Hicks's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Harry Holden was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Geraldo Littlejohn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hal McQueen in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute Hal McQueen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geraldo Littlejohn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hal McQueen was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Benny Murphy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Holden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benny Murphy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Harry Holden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hal McQueen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Weymouth Soccer getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Jaime Brandon hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Yong Hicks put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Harry Holden. After 70th play minutes Hal McQueen shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Geraldo Littlejohn and just under the crossbar into goal. Yong Hicks's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harry Holden read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Geraldo Littlejohn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hal McQueen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Weymouth Soccer's Harry Holden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benny Murphy in the 79th minute of play. After 83 played minutes Dent got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Swan. Geraldo Littlejohn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Randell Mullins in the 88th minute. In the 96th match minute, Weymouth Soccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Lange to maneuver through the defense. 97 minutes into the match, Weymouth Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Hugh McGowan came free, but Harry Holden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Weymouth Soccer players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dent.
