Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ernest Dukes made the kick off and thus started the match. Nick Ervin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernest Dukes in the 4th minute of the match. Ernest Dukes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nick Ervin having to interfere. If Young Puckett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nick Ervin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernest Dukes's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Tim Downing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Parnell having to interfere. The supporters of Soldotna booed when Oswego was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesse Calcagnini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eusebio Hong charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusebio Hong the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Soldotna's Eusebio Hong got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 22nd match minute, Soldotna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rueben Mullins to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute Young Puckett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nick Ervin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute of the match Leroy Chan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nick Ervin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Oswego's Jesse Calcagnini got a free kick in the 28th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Soldotna's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Dukes came free, but Nick Ervin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Darin McAlpins short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Michael Parnell to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tim Downing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nick Ervin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Young Puckett went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Young Puckett's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nick Ervin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Oswego were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tim Downing stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Young Puckett in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nick Ervin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Soldotna's Woodrow Carrier got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Oswego's Michael Parnell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tim Downing in the 59th minute of play. Michael Parnell didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Soldotna's Darin McAlpin shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. After a rather tough play, Soldotna's Woodrow Carrier got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Young Puckett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nick Ervin having to interfere. If Young Puckett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Woodrow Carrier fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soldotna's protests and gave Woodrow Carrier a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 played minutes Soldotna got a freekick which was hit by Woodrow Carrier. Marshall Randle hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Michael Parnell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tim Downing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 77 played minutes Oswego got a freekick which was hit by Young Puckett. Young Puckett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michael Parnell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darin McAlpin in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Eusebio Hong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nick Ervin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernest Dukes in the 89th minute of play. Darin McAlpin struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Michael Parnell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soldotna.
