Spectators: 7885 (Terracing: 6027, Seating: 1848, VIP seats: 10) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Joe Schmitt made the kick off which started today's match. San Diego Lightning's Lloyd Irvin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominique Fields in the 3rd minute of play. With a little luck, Pollock Pines AFC's Tião Galvão got control of the ball when Jaime Lockwood tried to sneak it across the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, San Diego Lightning's goal looked a bit too open when Rhett Adair came free, but Lloyd Irvin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Terrance Agoos in the 13th minute of play forced San Diego Lightning's goalkeeper Lloyd Irvin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ollie Barrera hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Joe Schmitt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Lloyd Irvin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 17 minutes of play, Pollock Pines AFC's Dominique Fields made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lloyd Irvin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 20th match minute, San Diego Lightning was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tyler Randolph to maneuver through the defense. When Collin Lyles came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Pollock Pines AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Collin Lyles couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Collin Lyles in the 27th minute of play forced San Diego Lightning's goalkeeper Lloyd Irvin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lloyd Irvin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominique Fields in the 28th minute of the match. Terrance Agoos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the San Diego Lightning defense, Collin Lyles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lloyd Irvin. The San Diego Lightning fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lloyd Irvin should have stopped the shot. If Collin Lyles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Dominique Fields got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ollie Barrera kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, San Diego Lightning's goal looked a bit too open when Terrance Agoos came free, but Lloyd Irvin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dominique Fields received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Lloyd Irvin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dominique Fields fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lloyd Irvin having to interfere. The San Diego Lightning players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pollock Pines AFC were winning 0-2.

Collin Lyles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pollock Pines AFC's Dominique Fields got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dominique Fields in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lloyd Irvin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lloyd Irvin didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 62nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. If Dominique Fields had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Terrance Agoos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lloyd Irvin having to make a save. In the 71st minute, Pollock Pines AFC's Dominique Fields dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. If Terrance Agoos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Terrance Agoos got free with Lloyd Irvin in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th match minute, San Diego Lightning was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tyler Randolph to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute, Rhett Adair got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 87 minutes, Terrance Agoos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pollock Pines AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Terrance Agoos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to San Diego Lightning getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Jaime Lockwood hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Jorge Cote could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Lloyd Irvin however easily saved by the left post. Tião Galvão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quincy Barney, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. If Dominique Fields had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joe Schmitt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Lloyd Irvin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
