In the 14th match minute, WPB Gators FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jay Simpson to maneuver through the defense. WPB Gators FC's Connor Rushing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Chamberlain in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Santa Rita FC booed when WPB Gators FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jay Simpson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Del Acero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cyrus Friedman to strike the kick off in the second half. Darius McLain stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wade Downey. 3-0. Kermit Duff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Connor Rushing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Allen Beltran hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. If Cyrus Friedman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The WPB Gators FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
