Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) Denny Tackett started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute Ervin Kane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wade Downey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Craig Akins blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alonzo Evangelista having to make a save. Alonzo Evangelista was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Craig Akins showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Wade Downey came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Donovan´s Paradise's Denny Tackett. But to his dismay, Denny Tackett quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Wade Downey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denny Tackett, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Donovan´s Paradise's Alonzo Evangelista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Donovan´s Paradise from getting a goal against them. Alonzo Evangelista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Craig Akins in the 28th minute of play. Gustavo Chamberlain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Alonzo Evangelista made a huge save. Wade Downey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denny Tackett in the 35th minute of the match. When Denny Tackett came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Donovan´s Paradise fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denny Tackett couldn't finish the play. Wade Downey came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Donovan´s Paradise's Denny Tackett. But to his dismay, Denny Tackett quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Santa Rita FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Denny Tackett scored to the left of an out of position Wade Downey, making the score, 1-4. The supporters of Donovan´s Paradise booed when Santa Rita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Korey Wang didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Kermit Duff was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santa Rita FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Donovan´s Paradise the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denny Tackett in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wade Downey saved Santa Rita FC from getting behind. After 63 minutes, Travis Metcalf mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Donovan´s Paradise and the Santa Rita FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th minute of the match Korey Wang shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alonzo Evangelista showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Santa Rita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Drake came free, but Wade Downey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alonzo Evangelista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Korey Wang went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. If Gustavo Chamberlain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th match minute, Santa Rita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Craig Akins to maneuver through the defense. Santa Rita FC's Tyrell Snider was substituted for Del Acero. Craig Akins kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Santa Rita FC's Wade Downey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denny Tackett in the 76th minute of play. Wade Downey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denny Tackett in the 80th minute of play. When Dave Drake fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Donovan´s Paradise's protests and gave Dave Drake a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Donovan´s Paradise booed when Santa Rita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Chamberlain didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Donovan´s Paradise had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
