Spectators: 7246 (Terracing: 5250, Seating: 1837, VIP seats: 159) In the 6th minute, MARBLE SYSTEMS's Geoff Perez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 9 minutes into the game, Bernardo Miranda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ali Thomson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geoff Perez in the 14th minute of play forced Menlo's goalkeeper Ali Thomson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Winston Fraser fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Menlo's protests and gave Winston Fraser a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Menlo getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Winston Fraser hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Menlo's goal looked a bit too open when Geoff Perez came free, but Ali Thomson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ali Thomson came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by MARBLE SYSTEMS's Bernardo Miranda. But to his dismay, Bernardo Miranda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After 27 minutes of play, MARBLE SYSTEMS's Omar Farley made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ali Thomson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bob Shipley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ned Turner in the 30th minute of the match. MARBLE SYSTEMS's Bob Shipley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lincoln Herndon in the 31st minute of play. Bob Shipley didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ned Turner went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. In the 37th minute, Bernardo Miranda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44th minute, Omar Farley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ali Thomson was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Bernardo Miranda might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ali Thomson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardo Miranda ran back to his position shaking his head. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lincoln Herndon was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th match minute, MARBLE SYSTEMS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reggie Grady to maneuver through the defense. Chance Piper's late challenge caught a Menlo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chance Piper helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Menlo booed when MARBLE SYSTEMS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chance Piper didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ned Turner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Bob Shipley made a huge save. 62 minutes into the match, Geoff Perez notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Menlo's Ali Thomson. Ali Thomson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Farley in the 65th minute of play forced Menlo's goalkeeper Ali Thomson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Thomson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Miranda in the 66th minute of play. Bob Shipley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lincoln Herndon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bob Shipley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lincoln Herndon, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. MARBLE SYSTEMS's Bob Shipley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lincoln Herndon in the 73rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Ned Turner could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Bob Shipley however easily saved by the left post. After 77 played minutes Menlo got a freekick which was hit by Ulysses Lindsay. Ali Thomson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Miranda in the 80th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Omar Farley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Thomson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zachariah Fitzpatrick scored 7-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ali Thomson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bob Shipley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clint Friend in the 95th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Menlo's goal looked a bit too open when Geoff Perez came free, but Ali Thomson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. MARBLE SYSTEMS had played much better football throughout.
