Rhett McKinley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Chamberlain in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Santa Rita FC's Olin Fay got a free kick in the 17th minute. Stevie Weathers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wade Downey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Ali McClure scored 2-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wade Downey, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicky Benavides during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Billz United's Dillon Yarbrough quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Roscoe Palacios, made in the 30th minute of the game. A hard shot 31 in the game by Ali McClure from a close distance when the talented Wade Downey managed to make a qualified save. Santa Rita FC's players were relieved. Ali McClure's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wade Downey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Wade Downey made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Nicky Benavides sent off a good shot on target. Lanny Li recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 39 played minutes Santa Rita FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeremiah Diggs. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stevie Weathers got free with Wade Downey in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Gustavo Chamberlain made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Korey Wang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Korey Wang charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Korey Wang the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Santa Rita FC's Korey Wang got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 60th match minute, Billz United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sterling LeBlanc to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Santa Rita FC's Kermit Duff ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rhett McKinley. Rhett McKinley yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. In the 65th minute of the game Roscoe Palacios made a throw-in which Craig Akins played forward. In the 71st minute of the match Santa Rita FC got a corner. Billz United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Korey Wang ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Craig Akins managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Santa Rita FC's Tyrell Snider was substituted for Del Acero. After 74 played minutes Billz United got a freekick which was hit by Stevie Weathers. Billz United's Rhett McKinley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Billz United from getting a goal against them. In the 77th minute, Bobby Blanco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santa Rita FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Santa Rita FC's Gustavo Chamberlain got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th match minute, Santa Rita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olin Fay to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the game, Gustavo Chamberlain cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Rhett McKinley was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roscoe Palacios made in the 95th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Bobby Blanco however managed to control. With 97 minutes on the clock, Connor Swenson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 96th minute, one of Billz United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Billz United. The goalkeeper, Rhett McKinley, was totally fooled by Santa Rita FC's Korey Wang, who 99 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Santa Rita FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
