Spectators: 7043 (Terracing: 6043, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lincoln Herndon started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Menlo getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Collin Norwood hit a great ball. Bailey House received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Ali Thomson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Winston Fraser kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Menlo's goalkeeper Ali Thomson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Menlo's Lincoln Herndon in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kuqezi's goalie prevented a goal. In the 15thth minute of the game Scot McNair who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Menlo's Ali Thomson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ali Thomson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Scot McNair, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Menlo's goalkeeper Ali Thomson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bailey House. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walker Poole in the 23rd minute of play forced Menlo's goalkeeper Ali Thomson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Scot McNair in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Thomson saved Menlo from getting behind. After some careless play in the Menlo defense, Bailey House kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ali Thomson. The Menlo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ali Thomson should have stopped the shot. Ali Thomson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Scot McNair went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Ali Thomson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bailey House in the 44th minute. The long shot by Luciano Sito in the 47th minute really tested Ali Thomson's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, Menlo's Collin Norwood got a free kick in the 48th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bailey House to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Bailey House shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Thomson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Menlo's goal looked a bit too open when Bailey House came free, but Ali Thomson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Brock kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. A collision led to Menlo getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ulysses Lindsay hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Bailey House managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kuqezi's supporters rose to their feet, but Bailey House was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Thomson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ali Thomson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Scot McNair, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, Menlo's Ulysses Lindsay got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Ali Thomson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lane Key hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Ali Thomson came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Kuqezi's Bailey House. But to his dismay, Bailey House quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Scot McNair took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ali Thomson. Ali Thomson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. Jim Banks charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jim Banks the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jim Banks hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the game, Winston Fraser was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Menlo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kuqezi the free kick. The supporters of Kuqezi booed when Menlo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Winston Fraser didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Kuqezi's Walker Poole nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ali Thomson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. There was no doubt that Kuqezi were the better team. Kuqezi's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
