Milo Winn kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 25th match minute, INTER FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas McQueen to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, INTER FC's goal looked a bit too open when Merrill Justice came free, but Cedric Abbott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The wind increased when Merrill Justice made the kick off in the second half. Michael Harrington hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Cedric Abbott was a little too slow when Merrill Justice got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-1. Jesus Donaldson struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Owen Baker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INTER FC. Jesus Donaldson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Owen Baker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute Tony Bonds shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Owen Baker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the INTER FC defense, Milo Winn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cedric Abbott. The INTER FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cedric Abbott should have stopped the shot. Cedric Abbott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Merrill Justice, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miami Gators's Owen Baker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Donaldson in the 71st minute of play. Merrill Justice fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cedric Abbott having to interfere. INTER FC's Cedric Abbott proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save INTER FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, INTER FC's Cedric Abbott got control of the ball when Milo Winn tried to sneak it across the goal line. Milo Winn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cedric Abbott having to interfere. When Merrill Justice fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Miami Gators's protests and gave Merrill Justice a yellow card for diving instead. If Tony Bonds had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tony Bonds during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tony Bonds kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Miami Gators's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
